Fiscal Program Assistant- The Southwest Council, a private non-profit that provides substance abuse services to Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties seeks a Fiscal Program Assistant to assist the Director of Operations with fiscal, human resources and administrative duties necessary for service provision and contract compliance. Individual in the position should demonstrate critical thinking while performing a wide variety of complex job assignments and have a thorough knowledge of the Council's mission and what it hopes to achieve. This position expedites work so that important details don’t fall through the cracks and sound decisions can be made readily by Administration, and provides support to the entire Council’s mission when needed. Must be proficient in Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting procedures. Must have a strong attention to detail. Min. 3 years exp. working in accounting, finance, or other Non-Profit management. Associates deg. from an accredited college pref., HS diploma or equiv. with major in business. Salary $35,000-$45,000 w/fringe pkg. Travel between Council locations required approx. 1% of the time. Drug and Alcohol Prevention Specialist- The Southwest Council, a private non-profit corporation that provides education, prevention, and treatment services in Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Co. seeks qualified individuals to work full time within our Opioid Services Unit. Duties include providing curricula based programs to community organizations and schools, summer camp programs, outreach, and family services. Will be required to conduct small & large group presentations with various ages including children and adults, specifically older adults, & participate in service development, planning, and implementation. Some evenings and weekends are required. Must possess a minimum of a BA/BS from an accredited college/university in education, psychology, social work or a related field; a Master’s preferred, with 2-3 years’ experience working directly in the field of substance abuse. R.N. or B.S.N. in gerontology will be considered. Excellent written and oral skills with strong computer knowledge a must. A valid driver’s license is required. Salary$32,000-$50,000.
